Compliance & honesty (P4-lite)

GreenPi is a real-economy marketplace concept with testnet software. We state limits clearly so producers and buyers are not misled. This page is informational, not legal advice. Rules differ by country (including EU).

1. What GreenPi is

A marketplace where producers run digital stands, product prices are in Pi, and GreenPi NAT is the operating utility for marketplace actions (listings, ops, disputes, rewards hooks) — not the sticker price of food.

2. What GreenPi is not

Not a guaranteed investment product or “get rich” scheme
Not a bank or licensed payment institution (unless separately obtained)
Not a promise that blockchain removes all fraud or quality risk
NAT is not marketed here as a security or speculative “gem”

3. Testnet vs live

Testnet / sandbox: experiments, simulated batch marks, demo delivery labels, optional simulated NAT ops fees
No guarantee that test balances or test marks equal mainnet value transfer
Live Pi settlement requires controlled release, clear treasury policy, and applicable compliance

4. Pi and NAT roles (fixed)

Pi — commercial value: product price, escrow path, producer settlement
NAT — marketplace engine on Stellar (utility). Product checkout remains in Pi

Reputation and stand rank are earned, never sold for Pi or NAT.

5. Data & privacy (high level)

Pi login uses Pi SDK scopes (e.g. username, payments) — we do not receive full KYC dossiers from Pi
Stand country is set by the producer for local market display
Orders, confirms, reviews, disputes stored for marketplace function (device / server logs as implemented)
Main site privacy policy: follow greenpi.app legal pages when published

6. Producers & buyers — duties

Accurate product description, stock, and local law (food rules, taxes where applicable)
Buyers: confirm when goods received; use dispute process in good faith
Platform: escrow → confirm / auto-confirm policy → batch plan → dispute process (testnet as built)

HU: Termelő és vevő is felelős; a platform folyamatot ad, nem helyettesíti a helyi jogot.

7. Regulatory awareness (EU and beyond)

Token and marketplace rules (including EU frameworks such as MiCA where relevant to crypto-assets) depend on classification, how tokens are offered, and where users are. GreenPi’s public line is utility for market operations and commerce in Pi, not an unregistered securities offer. Before any public NAT mainnet distribution or marketing campaign, competent advice and documentation are required.

8. Honesty pledge

We do not claim zero fraud or perfect quality by code alone
We do not hide that testnet buttons may simulate settlement
We position NAT as utility / engine, not “another coin to buy fruit with”
We build stands, local markets, reputation, and dispute process to protect trade — without fairy tales
